Claiming flight delay compensation from Ryanair

Date: 3 Apr 19

If you have been directed to this page following our Ryanair Information page then you will already be aware of Ryanair’s procedures. For those of you who are not aware, on the 26th July 2016 Ryanair amended their Terms of Carriage to include the following clause:

Passengers must submit claims directly to Ryanair and allow Ryanair 28 days or such time as prescribed by applicable law (whichever is the lesser) to respond directly to them before engaging third parties to claim on their behalf’.

If you booked your flight following the 26th July 2016 then you have agreed to this term as such, you should contact Ryanair directly to obtain their position of liability. Although we are not able to help you obtain your compensation, we hope that we can assist you in submitting your own claim to the airline.

Please find below a link to Ryanair’s EU261 Compensation form:

https://onlineform.ryanair.com/gb/en/eu-261

  • Your flight number (usually starting with FR).
  • Your flight date and route.
  • Your IBAN and SWIFT code.

Your flight information can be located on your Ryanair travel itinerary which would have been sent via email at the time of booking your flight.

Your IBAN and SWIFT code can be found on the top of your paper bank statements alternatively, can be obtained by calling your bank. These details are necessary for an international bank transfer from Ryanair’s head office based in Ireland.
